This page explains how paid partnerships work on coedee.com/ and how they intersect with our editorial content.
The Different Types of Paid Relationships
- Display Ads: banner/native ad units served through ad networks.
- Affiliate Commissions: earned when readers click a link and complete a purchase or sign-up — see our Affiliate Disclosure.
- Sponsored Content: articles paid for directly by a brand.
- Sponsored Placement: promoted spots within a comparison or “best of” list, separate from our organic editorial ranking.
How We Disclose It
Following FTC guidance, anything sponsored or materially influenced by a paying partner — beyond a standard affiliate commission — gets a clear “Sponsored,” “Promoted,” or “Advertisement” label near the top of the content.
No Editorial Approval for Sponsors
Sponsors and advertisers don’t get to sign off on scores, rankings, or article conclusions. We can turn down any deal that would compromise the integrity of our content.
Ad Quality
We aim not to run ads that are deceptive, malicious, or designed to look like editorial content. We vet ad partners reasonably and remove ads flagged as harmful or fraudulent.
